Cique Johnson went to school at RISD to become an animator but later decided, after a stint interning with MTV's Animation Department, that she'd rather be a comic artist so she could do her own thing - and not have stupid people at top stomp on perfectly good ideas in the name of money. Pfa to them!

She currently works as a web designer in Philadelphia and resides in Delaware with her husband Axe and her cat Björn. There she passes her time watching John Stewart on The Daily Show, doing yoga with Axe, drawing portraits, playing music and in a general state of amusement at Axe's crazy-ass comments. In her other free time, she goes out partying and dancing and skiing and hiking and spending time with her friends and her family (who are also some of her closest friends).

Her comic started out as a personal diary, but, in the interest of artistic freedom (and in order to tell more edgy, personal stories than one should reveal about their friends to the world) the story has wandered off from the diary format a little. Yeah for creative freedom!

I couldn't get all this done without the kickass friends and family who surround me. They keep me working when I get tired, they hang my paintings on their walls, and they're sweet enough to keep on reading my comics and giving feedback. Plus they're some of the funniest, most inspiring, strong people I know. I love you guys!
